Where better to take in the beauty of Lake Te Anau than aboard an elegant sailing ship as it glides across deep, cool waters of Lake Te Anau? Enjoy drinks and canapés as the sun dips behind Fiordland’s majestic peaks, and the crew share the captivating story of how Faith’s journey started in a Scottish boatyard way back in 1935. Ring the brass bell. Help hoist the sails. Ask to sit in the captain’s wheelhouse chair and steer the way home. Trip duration: 1.5 hours. Departs 6pm from 85 Lakefront Drive Te Anau (wharf located 200 metres from Distinction Luxmore Hotel).
